Ryan Guettler and BMX Plus! teamed up for a How-To. The trick that was picked was a Vader Footjam. Not only does the 10-photo sequence tell you how to pull it off, Ryan takes you through all the steps of this intermediate trick. Flip to pages 24-25 of the March 2010 issue to see it all.

Sno*Drift for Dave Mirra (29-30 January 2010)
If you want to know what Dave Mirra is doing this weekend, go to the rally.subaru.com website. In fact today and tomorrow he is entering the Sno*Drift rally race in Atlanta, Michigan.
Dave Mirra will be piloting car #40, an Open Class Subaru Impreza WRX STI, with co-driver Derek Ringer. This is a step up from the Super Production car he drove last year and Mirra is psyched to get behind the wheel of the immensely powerful Open Class car.
The conditions appear to be icy at the moment and they're expecting snow. Hopefully Dave keeps that #40 car on the road. Good luck.

Flick Trix Dave Mirra
If Flick Trix would have to keep up with the custom paint jobs that Dave Mirra treats his bike with, they would have to come out with a new toy multiple times per year.
Dave rode this colourway bike in 2009 and Flick Trix came pretty close to the actual colour, including the Monster green pedals.
See it as a bit of cross promotion. For the kids, you know....

RG loving the trails......
Man I've been loving the trails these days, there's a very rad crew who enjoy using a shovel which is hard to find. Most people only want to ride and not help dig but everyone here seem to help out which is soooo rad. Keep an eye out for a trails edit soon

10 stitches for Maxime Charveron
Maxime Charveron hurt his left hand last week and needed stiches. 10 of them. Max needs to chill for a couple of weeks until everything has healed up. He might miss the Simpel Session in Estonia the first week of February. The Frenchman has been riding hard filming for the Nike 6.0 Partners in Crime video which is to be released some time this spring.
His Partner in Crime Harry Main has taken off for Australia to finish up his clip and got a sunburn already on his first day there. With Andy Buckworth and Ryan Guettler being at home there are three team riders in Oz right now.
This G-Shock team advertisement with Maxime Charveron showed up in the latest issue of Desillusion skate-snow-surf & lifestyle magazine. Oui Oui.

Freedom BMX magazine issue # 91
In December the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds Street Session took place in Berlin, Germany. Harry Main was there as well as Alessandro Barbero and flow vert rider Austin Coleman. The new issue of Freedom BMX magazine arrived and it has a photo of Harry blasting major air and a double page spread of Austin on the vert ramp. Sweet.
Ryan Guettler and Nigel Sylvester were not in Berlin for the contest but they each got two pages in the January/February issue thanks to their shoe sponsors.
German Mirraco distributor La Finca is currently at the Bright show in Frankfurt and have a Blend 16 on display to get the dealers into their booth. Good luck there guys.

Ryan Guettler update.
What up guys, hope everyone is doing well... Sorry for the lack of updates but I've just been busy having too much fun.
So after Xmas and new years Vans shoes invited me to their zoomys 100k which is a huge awards party up in the SNOW, (This is my 2nd time ever seeing snow by the way) But I go up there with Jerry Badders, Nasty and Steve van Doren. We play the snow, me and Nasty tried to snowboard for a while which was so funny.
Then the night of the big party was amazing, we got to hang out with Snoop Dog and PJ Penn and Dustin Dollin (everyone was there ) it was a very fun night.
Then the next day I Fly home to Australia and meet up with Colony and Richo takes me straight to the trails, we have been filming a lot so wait for an edit to come soon. But now I'm home and having a blast but it was crazy going from snowboarding with Nasty one day to riding trails, getting sun burnt with Richo the next hahahaha such a great time....
Have fun
Ryan Guettler
P.S sorry for all the name dropping hahahahaha

Team update. Harry, Andy and Ryan say what's up.
Quick little update from Harry "short hair again" Main, Andy "The Monster" Buckworth and Ryan "grind box" Guettler:
Harry Main: Just a quick update! I'm back int he U.K. and we are snowed in! Everything has shut down and the weather is far too cold but we have been having some pretty cool sessions in the local indoor park!
I'm going to start my travels again next week! So if you see me in your home town come say what's up!
All the best to everybody for 2010!
Harry
Andy Buckworth: Hey guys I'm back in Australia now, came back for X-mas with the family. Pretty chill day just sat around with the family in the pool.
I've still been riding nearly every day since I've been back apart for when I hurt my back just before X-mas. That put me out for about 2 weeks but other than that it's Slam Factory (my local indoor park) every Tuesday and Saturday nights and Monster Park every Sunday night.
Also just before X-mas I went down to Melbourne for a box jump best trick comp that was super fun. Really chill comp, good vibe.
It's been really hot the last couple of days so I've been hitting the beach till the sun goes down and I can go ride. Take it easy every 1 and enjoy the holidays.
Andy Buckworth
Ryan Guettler: What up guys. Man it's cold in Greenville. I'm flying back to Aus in 7 days but had myself a rad X-mas and a really amazing New Year. Went to a local bar then had some friends over at mine and saw that crazy car jump Travis Pastrana did. Pretty cool. I want to see Mirra flip out of a hillicopter next year hahaha.
Hope every one is riding well for how cold it's been, next warm day I'm going to build a grind box for inside so I can keep riding when it gets too cold outside ..
Take care,
Ryan Guettler

Past and Present with Dave Mirra
The new issue of BMX PLUS! magazine has an article about Dave Mirra's Past and Present. His bike does look a bit different today with no pegs and no brakes on it. Let's not start about the weight difference between the bike on the left, and his current bike on the right. Thanks to BMX Plus! for the love.
