A Day In The Life with Ryan Guettler

Ryan Guettler has so much going on every day that it's hard to put everything in one clip. Vital BMX just posted PART 1 on their site and you can watch it by hitting that triangle in the middle. See how Ryan wakes up, takes care of the dogs, does a road ride, sessions at Dave Mirra's, grabs lunch and rides at a friend's place.

More to come...

You want the good news, or the bad news first?

From Harry Main:

Ladies and gentlemen of the bmx comunity...

Last night I pulled a 720 doublewhip over the resi and pulled it clean, got hyped and tried another and dislocated my ankle and broke my foot. Just got surgery last night 2 hours after it happened, thanks to Jamie Bestwick making some calls, two doctors turned up knocked me out and screwed me back up. Clean break. If everything goes well I will be back riding in 6weeks! I will flair bunnyhop off my bed when I'm good and ready..

Get well Harry!

Guettler in SoulBMX.tv clip

Thousands of people made it over to the Dirt Comp in Germany last weekend. With bands on stage like Bad Religion, Sum41 and AFI a lot of visitors came to see them, but they got to check out the Dirt jump action at the same time. In fact, the dirt jumping (and the bands) were shown live on MTV Germany. But it didn't stop there.

Here's a clip for instance made by Markus Wilke for SoulBMX.tv and it's got two different angles of Ryan Guettler's 1080. If you want to see it, hit the triangle button.

Harry Main Stateside

Harry Main is in the States again. After spending some time riding at Camp Woodward, the Brit has now arrived in Greenville to ride some well known indoor facilities. The new issue of Case BMX magazine (UK) came out and Harry has a photo in it from the Simpel Session event in Estonia.

Are you looking for a bike with a shorter Toptube, just like Harry rides? Maybe you should look into the Mirraco Mi6. If Harry can handle the bike right, you can too. At least you won't be able to blame the machine.

Harry Main Final Frame 139

When a jam is held at your local park you do have an advantage over other riders who come and visit the place just for a day. During the DUB jam in Liverpool a box jump contest was held.

Harry Main is a Rampworx skatepark regular so he knows how to blast over that box. Yep, indeed, he won the Box Jump part of the jam and got a full page shot of this awesome 360 invert in the new issue of Ride UK (page 160).

Do you speak Italian?

Harry Main (England), Andy Buckworth (Australia) and Alessandro Barbero (Italy) are all staying at Woodward camp at the moment. The American training facility attracts the best of them during the winter when the pros have a hard time finding the right place to ride their bikes.

Alessandro had an Italian film crew around for a few days and they filmed the following clip of Ale in Pennsylvania. Now hopefully you speak some Italian but if not, you can still enjoy the riding in this edit. Fronties in the works for Barbero?

Lenny Westfall at the Long Beach jam

RIDEBMX organised a jam at the Long Beach park and Mirraco employee Lenny Westfall made it over. Not only to check out the scene, but to ride in it too. If you ever want to talk to somebody at Mirraco who knows what's up, feel free to ask for Lenny.
Most likely he's picking up the phone already. Good job Lenny and for those who haven't seen the video yet, Lenny is wearing that blue Mirraco shirt.

"Get 'em while they're young"

Lisa and Jez own Venture Cycles over in Australia. They've got two sons who are growing up around bikes. In fact, 3 year old Claes' first word was "bike" so it didn't take him long to ride one. Glad they picked a Mirraco to get him started.
