Meet Dave Mirra in Millville on November 6-7

New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ is hosting the final round of the first ever US Rallycross Championships on November 6-7. Dave Mirra, Travis Pastrana, Tanner Foust and Andrew Comrie-Picard are among the BMX, Motocross and X Games legends that will be competing for bragging rights that weekend.

When not in their cars, Dave, Travis and the rest of the field can usually be found by their service areas signing autographs and taking pictures.

Think you can't afford it? False. We've made it easy for you - $20/CARLOAD gets you and all your friends into the park for the day. Stuff everyone in the car, tie them to the roof, strap them to the hood. $20. That's it. You can't miss this. Really, you can't.

ROC Salon, France

Last weekend the ROC d'Azur event took place in the South of France, not far from where the Mirraco distributor is based. Next to a BMX freestyle contest, a BMX World Cup race and a race with 17.000 mountain bike riders, the event had a trade area too. Sunex displayed their products for the week including some Mirraco bikes. Bicycle dealers and consumers visited the booth all week long and liked the 2011 line. Alessandro Barbero and the megaramp.

After the unfortunate Dew Tour stop in Chicago I am still here at Woodward and try to enjoy summer camp. The sessions always start at the new trails with lots of curved wall rides. It's super fun and has lots of rhythm. The sessions always end in two warehouses (Lot 8 and Cloud 9). Mondays we usually start a day in Lot 8. At the last demo session, me, Lil Keith, Steve McCann and Jamie Bestwick (as speaker) are really excited to pump the young audience of Woodward Camp.

I've been thinking to try the megaramp for a long time but I never had the possibility because it is not always open. Guys, this was one of my best experiences in BMX. I flipped 55ft (14 meters) on the first try. It's an undescribable feeling to go at certain speeds and certain height with a small bike.

Nigel Sylvester's FU-LETSRIDE ONE: B.I.K.E. event and B-day party.

On August 23 Nigel Sylvester kicked of the first annual FU-LETSRIDE event at 8 bond street studios. Later that night Nigel's friends and sponsors came together to throw him a Birthday Party. If you weren't there, this is what you missed.

Dave Mirra beats the pain

If you remember that Dave Mirra had a gnarly crash during practice in Salt Lake City only 2 weeks ago where he broke a knuckle in his left hand, dislocated his right thumb and bruised his sternum, only a few had expected him at the next Rally Cross in Millville, NJ 2 weeks later. Even surgery in his left hand, where they inserted 5 screws and a plate, did not hold Mirra back to line up in his Subaru.

And when Dave Mirra lines up, he's always a threat. He ripped off his cast of his broken pinky and pushed through the pain of his bruised sternum and hurting hands to compete in this race to finish second. Amazing.

Dave's still hoping to be able to ride the Dew Tour Finals in Las Vegas, if he can get his pinky to bend so he can hold the grip.
