An update from Kyle Baldock

Hey guys a week before I left to come over to the USA I got put on the UNIT team. I'm so stoked to be riding for them. I've been over in Greenville for the past month, just been riding the Warehouse and hanging out with everyone. I was lucky enough to get an invite from Harry Main to compete on his team at the Nike Pool jam along with Alex Colborn and Ben Wallace held in England. The pool was so sick, everyone was pulling out some bangers. Our team ended up placing third overall, it was sick that they transformed an empty pool into one of the best skateparks I've ever rode.

When I got back to Greenville I caught up with Ryan Guettler and Daniel Dhers and they gave me the news that they've taken over Dave Mirra's warehouse. Ryan has planned on putting some sick dirt jumps behind the warehouse and it will be opened to the public but you have to email Ryan first to ride at bmxwarehouse@hotmail.com.

I'm also putting together a new bike with the Stalag Mirraco frame. Other than that I've just been filming a new edit for Unit and just training for the season ahead.

Just wanted to also give a shoutout to Unit, Mirraco, Monster and Vans for all the support they have given me. Keep an eye out for my new edit

Bar in the train?

Taking your bike on the bus, the train or the metro isn't always easy. People will look at you and probably won't understand why it's so important to you to bring your bike along. Charles Liddell out of Landis Cyclery in PHX took it a step further and stepped on his bike to do a barspin bunnyhop on the light rail. Take a guess how many people freaked out on that one?

No.7 Mirraco bikes being used at The Pool

IMG made sure that local kids who get to ride The Pool for a few weeks have a good bike to ride. Lloyd Ramsay stopped three kids during their session in Dagenham to see what they thought about the Mirraco bikes that they were trying out. Never knew that Tony Hawk was on the team though. Enjoy the clip.

Andy Buckworth's new bike

Andy Buckworth has never minded colour on his bike but his new frame is black. But fear you not, it's got plenty of green and purple on it so you make sure it's Andy's personal ride. He parked it for a second at Dave Mirra's Animal House and sent over these photos. Is this the bike he'll be using at the Big Air event at the X-Games 17 in LA this summer? Last year his medal was bronze but with all the big air riding he's been doing at the Nitro Circus he might even step it up from that. The invite is in the pocket, that's for sure.

Andy recently got an interview on BMX Plus! about all the mega ramp riding he's been doing and the triple frontflip that has been on his mind. You should check it out by going to the BMX Plus! website.
